Rihanna’s got jokes. As previously mentioned, Rihanna has hinted that she is releasing new music in 2019. She’s never specified when in 2019, but she’s said this year. Unfortunately, she’s been occupied with releasing makeup, creating for Savage X Fenty, having fashion shows for Savage X Fenty, creating eyewear, publishing a photo book, accepting fashion awards from Janet Jackson, and being fabulous. Her fans have become so impatient that it’s becoming a running joke about when new music is coming out.

Well, with less than two weeks left in the year, Rihanna has decided to troll fans waiting on the new album. The singer posted the popular viral video of a white dog in box headbanging to House Of Pain’s “Jump Around.” She captioned the photo, “update: me listening to R9 by myself and refusing to release it.” Comments under the post range from laughing emojis, to crying emojis, to various versions of “I Hate You.”

This isn’t the first time Rihanna has made jokes about her new album. Back in September, she playfully teased a reporter who was about to ask her about the album. She jokingly dismissed her, saying, “You about to ask me about my album, I just knew it.”

Hopefully, her latest post is a hint that something is on the way. Until then, we wait.
