I will be entertaining my family for Thanksgiving this year and I'm searching for recipes to impress! Everyone seems to expect a novelty/festive drink during the Holiday Season. Searching through drink recipes, I came across this winner on Delish.com. Although I haven't tried this yet, it's Fireball and it's alcohol, put those two together, I know I'm going love it and I hope you do too!
INGREDIENTS
1 cup apple cider
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
2 (0.25-oz.) envelopes unflavored gelatin
1 c. Fireball whisky
Whipped cream, for garnish
Ground cinnamon, for garnish
Apple slices, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- In a small saucepan, add apple cider and lemon juice. Sprinkle over gelatin and let bloom, about 5 minutes.
- Place pan over medium heat and bring to a simmer, stirring to dissolve gelatin. Stir in Fireball and remove from heat.
- Pour into shot glasses and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.
- Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and an apple slice.
