This is the time of year we may be thinking of losing a few pounds.  I increase my workout regime and eat less this time of year.  After all, as you wear less clothes, you don’t want to show extra meat hanging out the sides!

Although going to your doctor is recommended in order to get an accurate goal weight, there is a simple equation that can give you an estimate of where you should be. It’s a pretty simple equation that doesn’t require you to be a mathematician!

I Weigh x The AllBright Mayfair, Mental Health Awareness Week Event

For Men: It’s 106 pounds plus 6 pounds for every inch over five feet.

For Women: It’s 100 pounds plus 5 pounds for every inch over five feet.

If the equation gives you a goal weight that seems unattainable or if you have a lot of weight to lose, it’s recommended that you aim for losing 10 to 20 pounds. – Maryann Morgan – Joel & Maryann in the Morning
