Yes, we're talking about that which you sit on. Gluteus maximus. If weight loss is one of your 2019 goals, this might be a place you're looking to start. Here are three ways courtesy of Medical News Today that will help you here and all over your body:

  • Running. The most obvious one. Not only does it help you burn fat, but it tones your muscles.
  • Step climbing. This can be actual steps, or the step climber at the gym. It can also be hiking or rock climbing/bouldering.
  • Squats. This really helps build muscle. If you're feeling adventurous, try the one-leg squat.

Starting with the biggest muscle in your body isn't a bad place to start your exercise and weight loss routine!
