Think getting those abs you want to have (or maintain) can only come from planks and treadmill workouts? While those things certainly help, there are everyday things you can do to help you get there – especially during the busy holiday season. Here are some quick tips, courtesy of Health:
- Lower stress. A little meditation might do some good. Belly fat is more strongly linked to stress than other fat on your body.
- Don’t skimp on strength training. Building muscle will supercharge fat loss more than cardio alone.
- Increase fiber intake. It slows digestion and helps you feel full.
