No, that isn’t a typo. You don’t need to check out a fitness blog to Netflix and chill. But did you know Netflix has a bunch of really inspiring fitness documentaries that might just motivate you to get up off the couch? Here are just a handful, courtesy of Shape:

  • Conquer the rock climbing gym. Valley Uprising highlights some of the earliest rock climbers and how they were considered crazy for what they did.
  • Get hooked on surfing. Resurface is about veterans using surfing to deal with their post-traumatic stress disorder.
  • Lace up your running shoes. Finding Traction features Nikki Kimball, who set the record for running Vermont’s 273-mile Long Trail through the Green Mountains…in one shot.

Regardless of your fitness challenges, these documentaries show us that we all have adversity to overcome to meet our goals.
