Obama Says He Would Sign With This NBA Team If He Was A Free Agent
If anyone could make Barack Obama fit into a scheme, it’s Gregg Poppovich.
According to Complex, earlier this week former POTUS, Barack Obama said at the MIT’s Sloan Sports Analytics Conference that if he were a free agent he would sign with the San Antonio Spurs.
This is just a simple case of real recognize real. Obama and Pop would clearly be a dynamic duo, with Obama’s wet jumper and Pop’s impeccable play calling, it’s a championship waiting to happen.
I can dream right.

“This is an outstanding fantasy. I am just basking in the scenario. I think it’s fair to say that there are organizations in the NBA that may not win every year, they are focused on the team, they treat everybody in the organization with respect. That is the kind of organization that I would want to be a part of. I will say that over the last 15 in basketball, San Antonio would be a great example. There is a little drama popping up right now. If you look at what they’ve built, it’s just a smart, well-run operation with good culture.” Obama said to the San Antonio Express-News.
Poppovich replied, “That’s very flattering. I’d have to do a background check on him, though, because I’ve heard some things he’s done in the past aren’t very good. I can’t remember where I heard that stuff, but I’d have to do a background check.”
Do you think Obama could hit a few jumpers if he were given the chance to play in a real NBA game?
I think so, run a screen for him and he could hit a three-ball.
