OMG! This Woman Has The World’s Longest Eyelashes

Our culture admires people with long eyelashes. Well, what if yours were five feet long. You Jianxia, a woman living in Shanghai, China, currently holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest eyelashes.

Jianxia first noticed her unusual eyelash length after an 18-month nature retreat. As Bustle reports, she suspects that being one with nature helped her eyelashes to grow freakishly long. If five-inch eyelashes aren’t weird enough for you, here’s a fact to make them even stranger. Her flowing locks only come from her top eyelid. Yes, that’s right, her eyes are always hidden by a few feathers of fuzz.

Her impressive growth was last measured on June 28^th, 2016 in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China according to Guinness. We can only imagine that her lashes have grown a little bit longer since then!

Now, this isn’t the first impressive hair feat to be featured on the world records site. If you search on their website, there are currently over 2,660 results about hair records. Here are three other hilarious hair records that we couldn’t pass on writing about.

Victor Anthony, who lives in Madurai, India holds the record for longest ear hair. Sadly, your grandfather isn’t the current winner! Victor’s ear hair is a whopping 7 inches long! The retired headmaster used to be referenced as the “ear-hair teacher” by his students.

Wondering what female has the longest hair? Xie Qiuping from China has hair that measures to 18 feet 5 inches long! Guinness states that she has been growing her hair since 1973 and she has to have a lot of patience to brush her hair.

Last, but certainly not least is Sheng Shusen. The man, who lives in Manzhouli, China has the world’s longest eyebrow hair. The hair measures to a little over 7 inches long! We hope he can get some free cell service with that brow.
