I was born in Staten Island, New York and moved to Jamesburg, New Jersey at the age of 14. I may not have been born here, but I spent my summers in Jersey at my grandparents summer vacation home, so I kind of think that makes me a "Jersey Boy".
I have always loved music. As a kid I sang-along to the radio, performed in school choirs and glee clubs in New York. I was the lead singer of a "hard rock" band in the 80's. We regrouped in 2010 for about four years.
After working for a large pharmaceutical company for over 14 years, I decided to change my career. My first radio gig was at our sister station 1450 WCTC in 1999. I worked overnights, produced Rutgers Football and Basketball and the Somerset Patriots. I was finally doing something I loved and before long I was producing the Morning Show and hosting a two-hour call in show on Saturday mornings on our sister station.
In March of 2002, I was given the chance to move over from our AM station to Magic 98.3 and I jumped at it. Over my career here at Magic I have filled in on every day part. I am very happy to back on Afternoon Drive, helping you wrap up your work day and make your commute home somewhat less stressful by playing all your favorite songs.
I’m married to my best friend, and yes, we have children. I'm an avid car enthusiast, attending car shows regularly and belong to The Garden State Crew-zers car club.
I think I'm pretty lucky, I have a great family, great friends, I get to play music, go to car shows, and I have a job I love! Really!!! I LOVE what I do! I get to play a lot of great music, meet and talk with wonderful people (like you), plus give away some great prizes!
Life is great!
