Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Middlesex County is looking for volunteers to advocate for children from Middlesex County who have experienced abuse or neglect.
CASA volunteers are appointed by a judge to speak for a child's best interests. They meet with the child and research their circumstances with the goal of securing a safe and permanent home as quickly as possible.
CASA volunteers come from all walks of life, with no special background needed. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and pass background checks. Applications must be received by Tuesday, June 6th.
The next volunteer training session begins on June 11th.
