Join Magic 98.3 and the Magic Street Team at St. Stan’s Carnival in Sayreville, Wednesday, June 21st from 8 PM to 10 PM for free Magic prizes, entertaining Magic music, and more! Don't forget to keep your phone charged at the event with the Saint Peter's University Hospital Charging Station!
Thousands come out each year as the St. Stanislaus Kostka School carnival – one of the largest in the area – open their gates for all those wanting to try the delicious grilled ribs, burgers, Polish sausage and hot dogs. Visitors can snack on shrimp and other seafood, along with traditional carnival food like cotton candy, ice cream and Italian ice.
In addition to rides, there will also be Magic contests and games, along with the carnival casino, where visitors plunk down cash and hope the wheel would rest on their numbers.
Money raised from rides, food and games helps support St. Stanislaus Kostka School. “The theme is really all about family pride and tradition,” says volunteer Michael Samuel. In its 20th consecutive year, the carnival first began in the 1940's. It ended in the 1970's, Samuel explained, but then picked up again in 1997. “This is not just a parish carnival,” Samuel said. “People come from all over for this event.”
