Want to go live, but don't want to use Facebook to do it? Well, a new way is coming YOUR WAY!
According to The Financial Times, Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom confirmed that live video is coming to Instagram! The live video feature has been offered to select users in Russia as an experimental option.
Since Instagram is owned by Facebook, expect the feature to work similarly on the photo sharing app. Users will have to "Go Insta" to appear live on Instagram.
At this time, it's not known when the new feature will roll out to users, and how it will differentiate between using Instagram Stories, or if there will be a separate section for live streams.
Either way, this will be good for businesses and fans of musicians, as well as anyone who doesn't utilize Facebook as much as Instagram.
