Bloody-Disgusting, a horror movie and gaming site, has dropped one of the biggest Beetlejuice bombshells yet:
Could Tim Burton be replacing Michael Keaton with Johnny Depp as Beetlejuice?
In case you missed it, there was an "approval" for a sequel, which would star Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton, initally, but then was shot down, according to the site, saying "Tim’s focus is entirely on Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children set for a September 30, 2016 release and developing Dumbo.”
According to the site, after Keaton was nominated for "Best Performance By An Actor In A Leading Role" in Birdman, Keaton seems to be dragging his feet. This is all hearsay, of course, but what if Burton is doing what the Bloody-Disgusting says and has pegged Edward Scissorhands to step into the Beetlejuice role?
That seems really wrong to us Tim Burton fans, but who knows what could happen.
