June 19-July 5. State Fair Meadowlands is back this year with electrifying free entertainment, rides and acres of food to delight fairgoers of all ages. This year’s acts include an the all-new, spectacular Lipizzaner Stallions & Horses of the World Show; the Great American Thrill Show, an open-air performance of daredevil acrobats and aerialists, presented by Circus Maximus; the adorable Racing Pigs; and several live concerts. Entertainment is free with ticket to the fair.

 Plays-in-the-Park presents Young Frankenstein, the Mel Brooks musical based on the classic 1974 film. This re-imagining of the story of Frankenstein is packed with raucous comedy and tuneful songs. No performances on Sundays. The Box Office opens at 5:30 p.m. on the evenings of performances and closes at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $7 for adults and $5 for seniors (60+). Children 12 and younger are admitted for free.
